Ordering & RFQ

Requesting quotations, quantities and commercial terms.

6 questions
01

How do I request a quotation?

Use the Request a Quote form, or the Request a quote button on any product page — the product is then pre-filled. You can also email info@1quantum.co.

02

What should I include in my request?

The more complete the request, the more accurate the quotation. Helpful details are:

  • Product, grade or designation, and the standard it must meet
  • Dimensions — for example thickness × width, coil inside diameter and coil weight
  • Quantity and unit
  • Destination country and port or city, and the required delivery date
  • Drawings, datasheets or previous test documents, if available
03

Can I request several products in one enquiry?

Yes. Add each product to your request from the product pages, or list several items in the Request a Quote form. Each line can carry its own grade, dimensions and quantity.

04

Is there a minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Minimum quantities depend on the product, grade and manufacturer, and are confirmed for each enquiry.

Confirmed per enquiry
05

Which payment terms do you accept?

Products & specifications

Product range, grades, standards and published data.

5 questions
07

Which products do you supply?

The range covers cold-rolled and hot-rolled steel coils, grain-oriented (CRGO / GO) and non-grain-oriented (CRNGO / NGO) electrical steel, special, die & tool steel and construction rebar, aluminum, copper and non-ferrous alloys, metallurgical and industrial machinery, mechanical parts, bearings, wire ropes, metal structures and hardware.

08

What is the difference between CRGO and CRNGO?

CRGO (grain-oriented) electrical steel has its crystal structure aligned with the rolling direction, giving low core loss along that direction — it is used mainly for transformer cores. CRNGO (non-grain-oriented) has similar magnetic properties in all directions and is used for rotating machines such as motors and generators.

09

Can you supply to a specific grade or standard?

Send the grade designation and the standard it must meet. Availability, the matching manufacturer grade and any deviations are confirmed for each enquiry.

10

Why are some product specifications not shown on the website?

Product data is published only after it has been supplied and approved. Where a page shows “On request” or “To be supplied”, please send your requirement — we will reply with the specification available for your enquiry.

11

Where does the electrical steel reference data come from?

The CRGO sample values shown on some pages are taken from a manufacturer’s technical manual (Baosteel grain-oriented electrical steel) and are labelled as reference data. They are not guaranteed values for a specific order.

Certificates, datasheets and inspection.

12

Do you provide mill test certificates?

19

How are coils and other products packed?

Packing depends on the product and the manufacturer’s standard export packing. If you have specific requirements — for example coil eye direction, maximum package weight or marking — include them in your request.

Installation and maintenance.

3 questions
20

Which services do you offer?

21

What does “excluding special equipment” mean?

Special equipment is a defined group of higher-risk equipment — such as boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, elevators and lifting machinery — that requires separately licensed organisations for installation and maintenance. It is not part of the service scope.
